The ComforPedic mattress is referred to as the Simmons NXG mattress which stands for the “next generation” of memory foam. The advanced memory foam in the Simmons ComforPedic is different than the Tempurpedic or Sealy Trueform mattress.
Ratings and reviews have been very favorable so far. Comforpedic prices range from 3599.99 to 4099.00 in king size set. The NxG mattress has three key advantages over most other memory foam beds.
A common complaint among other memory foam beds such as Tempurpedic is that it sleeps hot. The NXG mattress is made in a special vacuum-sealed chamber that increases airflow and resiliency.
The greater airflow through the memory foam allows for more circulation through the mattress and reduces heat from the body conforming to the mattress.
The Simmons Comforpedic uses a larger cell structure and is designed to dissipate heat and help to keep you cool throughout the night to promote comfort and sleep.
The NxG mattress has quicker recovery due to pre-cracked cells. The quicker recovery will allow the body to move more freely on the memory foam without the quicksand feeling effect.
The consistent comfort eliminates the need for a break in period.
