The air chambers can be easily adjusted from 0 to 100 (sleep comfort number) to provide the perfect postural support for the individual. They have five different models for you to choose from for personalized comfort. The Sleep Number 4000 and 5000 beds are two of the mid-range models.
Sleep Number 4000 Bed
The Select Comfort Sleep Number bed 4000 is a luxury mattress that profiles at 10 inches in height with a European Style pillow top. The cover is a cream colored polyester and polypropylene blend for a breathable and soft surface. Inside this number bed there are boarder walls made from high density foam blocks and the air chamber system. The topper of the comfort number bed is a Hypersoft fiber fill, a 1 inch layer of Quilting Foam and a 1 inch layer of Intrulux foam for contouring support of the body. It uses a digital Firmness Control System to adjust the softness and firmness of their sleep by number mattress.
Sleep Number 5000 Bed
The Sleep by Number 5000 bed by Slect Confort also has the European Style pillow top but upgrades to 11 inches in profile height. This number beds cover is ivory white with 100 percent rayon for a softer breathable surface. The inside has both the adjustable air mattress chamber and high density foam blocks for sitting, increased sleep surface and sleep comfort. The topper on this comfort number bed is a fiber fill of high-loft polyester, a 1 inch layer of Hypersoft Quilted foam and a 2 inch layer of Intrulux foam to provide more support. The Sleep Number Firmness control system has a whisper quiet pump with a choice of one wireless remote or two individual wired remotes for each side of the number bed.
